(a) This part applies to public water systems and any individual who seeks certification or licensure to perform:
- (1) The duties of a water operator; or
- (2) Other activities for which certification or licensure as a water operator is available from the Department of Health.
- (b) All public water systems and any individual performing the duties of a water operator must comply with this part.
