Any optometrist applying to the State Board of Optometry for certification as an optometric physician must take and pass tests administered by the board or its approved agent as follows:

1. (1) A test including, but not limited to:

   1. (A) Rules;
   2. (B) Regulations;
   3. (C) Federal controlled substance regulations;
   4. (D) Jurisprudence;
   5. (E) Impaired provider program; and
   6. (F) Prescription writing; and
2. (2) Other tests as deemed necessary by the board.
