17 CAR § 380-101 – Meeting of board

(a)
1. (1) The State Board of Optometry shall meet at least two (2) times each year, time and place to be designated by the President of the State Board of Optometry in his or her official call of such meetings.
2. (2) However, additional special meetings may be held at the discretion of the president or at the written request of two (2) members of the board, provided such special meetings are necessary.
(b)
1. (1) Meetings may be called by the president by giving three (3) days’ notice of meeting.
2. (2) Notice may be oral or written and shall set forth the time and place of such meeting.
(c) A majority of the members of the board shall constitute a quorum, and if a quorum is not present at the time of such called meeting, same may be adjourned to a later date to be designated by the president.
