(a)

1. (1) A Class E Unrestricted alarm systems company installs alarm systems, including those systems in structures that are required by the Arkansas Fire Prevention Code, 12 CAR pt. 15, to have a fire alarm system.
2. (2) An applicant that is qualified for a Class E Unrestricted license is also qualified for a Class E Restricted license.

(b) To be licensed as a Class E Unrestricted alarm system company, the applicant must meet the following qualifications:

1. (1) Manager certification requirements. The manager must have completed all of the courses from one (1) of the following organizations:

   1. (A) NICET:

(i) Level III; or

1. (ii) Level IV;

   1. (B) ESA:

      1. (i) Level I;
      2. (ii) Level IIA, Electronics or ABAT; and
      3. (iii) FAIM;

   2. (C) NESA:

      1. (i) Electronics; and
      2. (ii) Fire Installation and Wiring Codes; or

   3. (D) Elite Continuing Education University (CEU):

      1. (i) Elite CEU Level I;
      2. (ii) Advanced Electronic Intrusion Technician (AEIT); and
      3. (iii) Fire Alarm Installation Techniques (FAIT); and

2. (2) Alarm technician or alarm agent requirements. The applicant must have completed one (1) of the following courses:

   1. (A) NICET Level II;
   2. (B) ESA Level I;
   3. (C) NESA Level I;
   4. (D) Elite CEU Level I; or
   5. (E) Complete Electrical Academy – Level I.
