(a)

1. (1) The State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists shall issue a certificate of registration, upon payment of the registration fee as provided to any applicant who, in the opinion of the board, has satisfactorily met all requirements of this part.
2. (2) Certificates of registration shall show the full name of the registrant, the date of registration, give a serial number, and be signed by the chair of the board and by the Secretary of the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists under seal of the board.
3. (3) The issuance of a certificate of registration by the board shall be prima facie evidence that the person named therein is entitled to all the rights and privileges of a registered geologist, as long as the certificate is not revoked or expired.

4. (4) Upon payment of the fee, the board shall issue a pocket-sized registration card showing:

   1. (A) Name;
   2. (B) Serial number; and
   3. (C) Expiration date.
