- (a) Written examinations. The regular written examination for registration as a professional geologist in Arkansas shall consists of both parts of the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG) test. (b) Examination facilities.
- (1) The ASBOG exam will be administered at facilities and on dates specified by the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists, but must be offered at least once per year.
- (2) Examinees of the ASBOG test must abide by all the rules and regulations of ASBOG and the rules of the board.
(c) Requirements for passing examination.
- (1) Every applicant receiving a passing score on the ASBOG exam (Part I and Part II) shall be deemed to have passed.
- (2) If the test was taken for registration in another state prior to January 1, 1997, the board may accept the test score based on applicant’s submission of work history.
