(a)

1. (1) The State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists shall hold at least two (2) regular meetings each year.
2. (2) Four (4) members shall constitute a quorum.
3. (3) An affirmative vote of a majority of the members present shall be necessary to transact business.
4. (4) Special meetings of the board shall be called by the Secretary of the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists upon the written request of the chair or any two (2) members, by giving each member of the board at least seven (7) days’ notice of such meetings and the time and place at which such meeting is to be held.
5. (5) Notice of all meetings shall be given as required by the Arkansas Administrative Procedure Act, Arkansas Code § 25-15-201 et seq.

(b)

1. (1) The board shall follow Robert’s Rules of Order with the exception that the chair and the ex-officio member shall be full voting members.
2. (2) However, the chair shall not vote unless there is a tie vote among the other board members.
