- (a) The purpose of the Crime Victims Reparations Board shall be to hear and decide all matters relating to crime victims reparations applications.
- (b) The board shall have the authority to award compensation to victims of crime for economic loss arising from criminally injurious conduct if satisfied by a preponderance of the evidence that the requirements for compensation have been met.
