- (a) The Crime Victims Reparations Board shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the Governor to serve four-year terms and until the successor is appointed and qualified.
- (b) At least two (2) members of the board shall be persons admitted to practice law in this state.
(c) At least one (1) member of the board shall be:
- (1) A victim of criminally injurious conduct;
- (2) The next of kin of a homicide victim; or
- (3) An individual experienced in providing victim assistance services.
(d) Of the first members appointed:
- (1) Two (2) shall be appointed for a term of two (2) years;
- (2) Two (2) shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years; and
- (3) One (1) shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years.
- (e) Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner.
