(a) Cooperative agreements (system of natural areas).

1. (1) The staff of the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission may propose cooperative agreements for the conservation and stewardship of properties included in the system of natural areas.
2. (2) Each proposed cooperative agreement shall be presented in writing to the commission for approval.

(b) Cooperative agreements (not related to the system of natural areas).

1. (1) Through cooperative agreements, the commission may promote conservation of natural diversity on lands not included in the system of natural areas.
2. (2) The cooperative agreement shall specify the commitment of commission staff time and other resources.
3. (3) Each proposed cooperative agreement shall be presented in writing to the commission for approval.
