(a) Approval.

1. (1)

   1. (A) The management plan developed by the River Designation Advisory Committee shall be submitted to the quorum court of each county through which the river flows.
   2. (B) If the court fails to take action within three (3) months from the date when the plan was submitted, the plan or portions thereof not acted upon by the court shall be deemed to have been approved.
   3. (C) Arkansas Code § 15-23-312.

2. (2)

   1. (A) The management plan also must be approved by the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission before submission to the General Assembly.
   2. (B) Arkansas Code § 15-23-311(4)(A).

(b) Date of effect.

1. (1) The management plan shall not be effective until enacted into law by the General Assembly.
2. (2) Arkansas Code § 15-23-311(5).
