15 CAR § 29-209 – Public awareness and education

(a) Public awareness and education are critical for water planning in Arkansas.
(b) The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission will collaborate with the Arkansas Water Foundation, the Arkansas Association of Conservation Districts, the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, and others to develop and disseminate public information.
(c) This information should focus on:
1. (1) Water conservation practices being implemented in Arkansas;
2. (2) Advances in water conservation technology; and
3. (3) Trends in groundwater and surface water use.
