- (a) The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission will prepare, develop, formulate, and engage in a comprehensive program for the orderly development and management of the state's water and related land resources, to be referred to as the "Arkansas Water Plan".
- (b) The first edition of the Arkansas Water Plan was published by the commission in 1975 and updated in 1990 and 2014.
