- (a) The following list provides some examples of the types of projects that are eligible for assistance from the RLF nonpoint source program.
(b) This list is intended as an illustration and the types of projects funded are not limited to those listed below:
- (1) Landfills. The construction of leachate collection and treatment systems, the closing and capping of landfills, or the reclamation of old landfills;
- (2) Groundwater remediation from UST. The remediation of groundwater contamination from leaking petroleum storage tanks or other underground storage tanks;
- (3) Groundwater remediation or protection from well field sites. The remediation or protection of the groundwater from oil wells or injection wells or other well fields;
(4) On-site septic tank repair or replacement. The repair or replacement of on-site septic systems to protect:
- (A) Groundwater;
- (B) Drinking water supplies; and
- (C) Public health;
- (5) Stormwater management facilities. The purchase of equipment, land, and easements or construction of facilities to collect, store, and treat stormwater runoff;
- (6) Agricultural and animal waste facilities and equipment. The construction of facilities to collect and treat waste products and the equipment needed to properly run those facilities; and
- (7) Brownfield redevelopment. The remediation or reclamation of a brownfield site to protect and/or restore groundwater.
