15 CAR § 23-804 – Woody vegetation prohibited — Concrete or masonry dams

(a) No grass, vines, brush, trees, or other vegetation is permitted to grow in cracks or joints of concrete or masonry structures.
(b) Remediation.
1. (1) Vegetation shall be removed by:
  1. (A) Manual, mechanical, or chemical means; or
  2. (B) A combination thereof.
2. (2) Open cracks or joints shall be repaired by approved means.
(c) Time for compliance. In the absence of conditions indicating immediate hazards, a schedule resulting in complete compliance within six (6) months may be approved.
