- (a) Each dam constructed after the effective date of this part shall be equipped with a release port or ports designed to release a flow of water for instream and downstream riparian uses.
(b) Minimum release quantities shall be:
- (1) Sufficient to maintain existing instream and offstream uses; and
- (2) Defined after consideration of the best available low flow information.
- (c) Minimum release ports must be designed to operate without manual intervention.
