- (a) If requested, the Director of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission shall cause a public hearing to be conducted within the county in which the dam is/will be located.
(b) Said hearing will be for the purpose of:
- (1) Describing the proposed actions; and
- (2) Taking testimony regarding the public view of the proposal.
- (c) The director shall cause publication of a public notice describing the time, place, and purpose of the public hearing.
(d) Copies of the public notice shall be furnished to the:
- (1) Owner or owners;
- (2) Complainant or complainants; and
- (3) Adjacent landowners, if known.
- (e) Publication shall be in a newspaper having general circulation in the county in which the dam is/will be located.
- (f) Notice shall be published twice, one (1) week apart.
