(a) Upon the issuance of a permit to divert to nonriparian uses, the Director of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission shall:
- (1) Furnish the permit to the applicant;
- (2) Furnish a copy to the commissioners; and
- (3) Cause a copy thereof to be retained in the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission’s records at the office of the commission.
- (b) The permittee shall record his or her permit in the office of the circuit clerk in each county through which the diverted water shall pass.
