(a)

1. (1) This subpart applies to the main stem of the White River in Arkansas from below Bull Shoals Dam to its confluence with the Mississippi River.
2. (2) See Appendix A-2, Map of White River Reaches and Gauges.

(b) For the purposes of this subpart the White River is divided into three (3) reaches:

1. (1) Bull Shoals Dam to the Calico Rock gauge;
2. (2) Calico Rock gauge to the Newport gauge; and
3. (3) Newport gauge to the confluence with the Mississippi River.

(c)

1. (1) Streamflow data for each reach will be collected from gauges operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers or United States Geological Survey and identified in A-2 of the Appendix.
2. (2) When the volume of water crossing the location of each gauge falls to the gauge levels identified in 15 CAR §§ 20-1303 – 20-1305, users must cease withdrawals.
