Review and revision of poultry litter management plans
Arkansas Code § 15-20-1104; Arkansas Code § 15-20-1111
- (a) Poultry litter management plans shall be reviewed by the owner or operator at least annually to determine if adjustments or modifications are needed.
(b) Plans shall be modified if:
- (1) Facilities are expanded;
- (2) Total acreage receiving nutrient application changes;
- (3) Use of acreage changes; or
- (4) Facilities are under control of a different operator.
(c)
- (1) Poultry litter management plans shall be reviewed thoroughly by a certified nutrient planner every five (5) years, and a report of the five-year review shall be provided to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission within one hundred twenty (120) days following the end of the fifth annual growing period identified in the plan.
- (2) The five-year review shall update the existing plan with recent soil and litter testing data.
- (3) All other information required to be included in a poultry litter management plan in 15 CAR § 6-402 shall be updated with current information.
