Review and revision of nutrient management plans
Arkansas Code § 15-20-1104; Arkansas Code § 15-20-1111
- (a) Nutrient management plans shall be reviewed by the owner or operator of the nutrient management unit at least annually to determine if adjustments or modifications are needed.
(b) Plans would need to be modified if the:
- (1) Facilities were expanded;
- (2) Total acreage receiving nutrient application changes;
- (3) Use of acreage changes; or
- (4) Facilities are under control of a different owner or operator.
(c)
- (1) Nutrient management plans shall be reviewed thoroughly by a certified nutrient planner every five (5) years, and a report of the five-year review shall be provided to the local conservation district within one hundred twenty (120) days following the end of the fifth annual growing period identified in the plan.
- (2) The five-year review shall update the existing plan with recent soil and litter testing data.
- (3) All other information required to be included in a nutrient management plan in 15 CAR § 6-303 shall be updated with current information.
