- (a) With respect to approved applications for financial assistance under this part, the Director of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission shall have the discretionary authority to increase the amount of financial assistance to the applicant for bid overruns without returning to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission for approval.
- (b) Such increase in financial assistance shall be granted only after consultation with the Chair of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission.
- (c) Any financial assistance increases pursuant to this section shall be reported to the commission as a whole at the next regularly scheduled commission meeting.
