Arkansas Code § 13-7-104
- (a) This part creates guidelines and processes for the administration of the Arkansas Historical Marker Program.
- (b) The markers will commemorate the past by acknowledging historically significant people, places, and events in Arkansas.
- (c) Markers must be sponsored by civic groups and organizations and not solely by individuals.
