1. (1) A lease, although subject to this article, is also subject to any applicable:
2. (a) certificate of title statute of this state;
3. (b) certificate of title statute of another jurisdiction (Section 7-2A-105); or
4. (c) consumer protection statute of this state.
5. (2) In case of conflict between this article, other than Sections 7-2A-105, 7-2A-304(3), and 7-2A-305(3), and any statute referred to in subsection (1), the provisions of that statute control.
6. (3) Failure to comply with any applicable statute has only the effect specified therein.
