The following are exempted from this part:
- (1) Persons licensed by law of this state to practice medicine, surgery, osteopathy, or chiropractic.
- (2) Commissioned medical or surgical officers of the United States Army, Air Force, Navy, or Marine hospital service.
- (3) Registered nurses.
- (4) Hairdressers and beauty culturists, insofar as their usual and ordinary vocation and profession is concerned, including light hair trimming incidental to waving of all kinds.
- (5) Undertakers and morticians.
- (6) All barber schools and colleges and instructors employed therein by the state or county department of education.
