The terms of office of members of the Scottsboro City Board of Education set to expire in 2026 shall be extended by one additional year to expire in 2027. Successors to the offices of members of the city board of education whose terms expire in 2027 shall be elected at the general municipal election to be held on the fourth Tuesday in August 2027, and every six years thereafter.
