1. (a) Any agency using a photographic speed enforcement system shall ensure the system is calibrated on an annual basis by an independent calibration laboratory.

2. (b) The independent calibration laboratory performing the calibration shall issue a certificate of calibration for the automated photographic speed enforcement system as proof of both of the following:

   1. (1) The annual calibration check was performed.
   2. (2) The automated photographic speed enforcement system is accurately calibrated.
