1. (a) Any minor may give effective consent for any legally authorized medical or mental health services to:

   1. (1) Determine the presence of or treat sexually transmitted infections, drug dependency, or alcohol toxicity;
   2. (2) Determine the presence of any reportable disease; or
   3. (3) Prevent or determine the presence of pregnancy.
2. (b) The consent of no other individual is necessary for a minor to receive any services under this section.
