1. (a) At the election provided for in this article the municipal authorities shall furnish ballots on which shall be printed:

   “Election to provide for the consolidation of _______

   (Naming the cities or towns to be consolidated). For Consolidation _____

   Against Consolidation _____ ”

2. (b) The voter shall express his choice by making a cross mark (X) opposite the phrase expressing his choice.
