The provisions of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 [Public Law 103-31, 42 U.S. Code 1973gg et seq.] shall apply to all elections for state and local government offices in the State of Alabama. Copies of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 may be obtained without charge from the Secretary of State's office, Elections Division, State Capitol, Room E-201, Montgomery, Alabama 36130.
