1. (1) Any fee required under Chapters 8 and 20 of Title  32, Code of Ala. 1975, must be submitted to the department by a  designated agent by Automated Clearing House ACH debit  transaction or credit card payment.

   Note: The designated agent is responsible for any affiliated  credit card convenience fees charged when utilizing a credit  card.

2. (2) The department will maintain a record of all  dishonored payments received from a designated agent. The  department may require a designated agent that has had a  dishonored payment of fees to submit certified funds in payment  of fees. The department may revoke the license of a designated  agent that has had a dishonored payment. The department may make  a claim against a designated agent’s surety bond for any fees  due the department that have not been paid by the designated  agent.
