1. (1) Service may be refused or discontinued for the reasons listed below, in addition to any reasons stated in the General Rules. Unless otherwise stated, the customer shall be notified and allowed a reasonable time in which to comply before service is discontinued.

   1. (a) Without notice in the event of customer use of equipment in such a manner as to adversely affect the utility's equipment or the utility's service to others or use of customer-provided equipment which is incompatible with the utility's equipment.
   2. (b) In extraordinary circumstances where unlimited access to the network may result in substantial loss of revenue to the utility.
