- (1) A licensed mastectomy fitter is a health care professional who is specifically educated and trained in the provisions of breast prostheses and post-mastectomy services. This includes patient assessment, formation of the treatment plan, implementation of a treatment plan, follow-up and practice management which is consistent with nationally recognized programs which is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
