The executive committee has the authority to engage the University of Alabama at Birmingham to equip and maintain an office for the administration of the Alabama Optometric Scholarship and Loan Program on the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus. The cost of equipping and maintaining this office shall not exceed the amount required each year to administer the scholarship-loan program.

1. (b) The executive committee may choose an Administrator other than the University of Alabama at Birmingham to administer all of its Scholarship and Loan Programs. The Administrator shall be hired for an amount to be negotiated between said administrator and the Board but such amount shall not exceed the amount required each year to administer the scholarship and loan program.
