Ala. Admin. Code r. 630-X-11-.03
As a condition to continued approval by the Board of this school, the Board imposes the following duties and responsibilities upon the dean of the school relating to those qualified faculty members and residents performing professional optometric services in programs of the school:
a) He or she must annually certify to the Board the names and addresses of the members of the school's faculty and those residents who are not currently licensed to practice optometry in Alabama.
b) He or she shall promptly notify the Board of any changes in personnel on the faculty to whom a limited teaching license has been issued or in the enrollment of any resident to whom a temporary resident license has been issued.
c) He or she must furnish each applicant for a limited teaching license or a resident license a certificate that such applicant is a bona fide member of the faculty of the school or a bona fide resident enrolled in the program.
d) He or she must report immediately to the Board any information received by him relating in any way to a member of the faculty holding only a limited teaching license or a resident holding a resident license who is performing professional optometric services other than as an adjunct to such faculty member's function at the school or such resident’s participation in the program. He or she must also use every reasonable means to prevent such unlawful practice.
e) He or she must otherwise cooperate fully and completely with the Board toward the end that the limited teaching and resident licenses provided hereby will be used only for the purpose for which they are intended.
