Ala. Admin. Code r. 630-X-11-.02
Any non-profit school or program of optometric residency approved by the Board is eligible for the issuance of annual resident licenses to those qualified residents enrolled in said school or program. The resident licenses shall be issued in the same manner as limited teaching licenses and shall be subject to the same annual certification by the Dean of the school. Resident Licenses shall be for the limited purpose of performing optometric services only as necessary to participate in and complete the school’s resident program and shall be restricted to the provision of optometric services performed under the supervision of faculty members of the said school possessing a regular or limited teaching license at the time of the provision of services.
