(1) The Committee shall perform the following duties.
- (a) elect officers (Chairperson; Co-Chairperson; Secretary) to carry-out duties in an orderly fashion, with the Chair and Co-Chair not being employed by the program ;
- (b) develop by-1aws and operational procedures necessary to perform duties and responsibilities;
- (c) meet at least quarterly;
- (d) keep minutes of all meetings and maintain related correspondence;
- (e) report all committee activities and recommendations to the program director.
(2) The Human Rights Committee will include, but not be limited to, activities such as:
- (a) assisting in the review of rights-related policies and procedures;
- (b) promoting rights-related education and training programs;
- (c) reviewing rights restrictions;
- (d) assisting in monitoring activities;
- (e) advising the program administrator on consumer rights-related grievances;
- (f) reviewing rights-related issues in behavioral plans.
