- (1) Perinatal Regional Directors serve as a liaison between the provider community, Medicaid eligible pregnant women and infants, the Department of Public Health and the Alabama Medicaid Agency.
- (2) The purpose of providing these services is to ensure availability of and access to care for the benefit of Medicaid eligible recipients.
