(1) The State Fire Marshal hereby sets the following fees as are declared necessary for the administration and enforcement of Chapter 33 of Title 34, Code of Ala. 1975, known as the Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems Act, as amended by Alabama Act No. 2017-240:
- (a) Application Fee for Permit as Fire Protection Sprinkler Contractor I, initial and annual renewal ............... $120
- (b) Application Fee for Permit as Fire Protection Sprinkler Contractor II, initial and annual renewal .............. $120
- (c) Skilled Worker Exemption Certificate (per worker), initial and annual renewal.............................. $120
- (2) In the event a permit lapses for non-renewal, the holder must submit a new application and pay the Initial Application Fee.
