Unless the context otherwise requires, terms found in this chapter are used as defined in the Law. The following terms are defined for purposes of this chapter:

1. (a) LICENSEE. A pharmacy benefits manager licensed in accordance with this chapter.
2. (b) THE DEPARTMENT. The Alabama Department of Insurance.
3. (c) THE LAW. Chapter 45A of the Alabama Insurance Code, beginning with Code of Ala. 1975, §27-45A-1, as amended by Alabama Act No. 2021-341.
