- (1) Any individual submitting an application for an initial license as title insurance agent shall be required to be fingerprinted by the approved third party contractor designated by the Alabama Department of Insurance, submit the required nonrefundable and nontransferable fee, and authorize the Alabama Department of Public Safety to conduct a criminal history background check and allow the release of any criminal history information to the Alabama Department of Insurance.
