For purposes of this Chapter, the following words and phrases, unless a different meaning is plainly required by the context, shall have the following meanings:
"administrative action" means the issuance, modification, repeal, or denial of any application, award, permit, certification, or variance, or the issuance, modification or repeal of any order, notice of violation, rule, or regulation by the Agency.“Agency” means the staff of the Alabama Historical Commission, a state agency established by the Code of Ala. 1975, §§41-9-240 to 41-9-263."aggrieved" means having suffered a threatened or actual injury in fact."Commission" means any number of the Commission members of the Alabama Historical Commission.“Executive Director” means the Executive Director of the Alabama Historical Commission"person" means any and all persons, natural or artificial, including, but not limited to, any individual, partnership, association, society, joint stock company, firm, company, corporation, institution, trust, estate, or other legal entity or other business organization or any governmental entity, and any successor, representative, agent, or agency of the foregoing.Author: Stacey Mills
