The mission of the Department is carried out pursuant to statutory authority in Code of Ala. 1975, § 23-1-20, et. seq. The Department designee to whom functions are delegated in accordance with statutory authority shall, with regard to those functions, exercise all power, jurisdiction and authority conferred by law.
