The organization and staff of the Department is determined by the Transportation Director. Department organization and staffing may be modified by the Director. Generally, the Department is organized as follows:

1. (a) Administrative Offices, which include the Chief Engineer
2. (b) Legal Bureau
3. (c) Central Office Bureaus
4. (d) Region Offices located throughout the State
5. (e) Area and District Offices located within each Region
