County Health Department Administered Program. The County Boards of Health may directly administer a rabies vaccination verification program in conjunction with the County Rabies Officer, and, in so doing, are not bound by the provisions of Chapter 420-4-2-.01 et seq., provided, however, that prior to instituting such program, the county board of health shall submit and have approved by the State Health Officer a plan for execution of said program.
