1. Notification Prior to Performance of Activity. A storage operator shall notify the Supervisor prior to performing any of the following activities:
- a. Setting surface casing;
b. Running intermediate or production casing;
c. Perforating;
d. Drillstem testing;
e. Wireline logging or surveying;
f. Coring;
g. Pressure testing;
h. Cleaning tanks; and
i. Initiating a gathering line construction operation.
j. Witness of Activities. The Supervisor may send a duly authorized representative to the location to witness activities in section 1 of this rule.
2. Notification Subsequent to Occurrence of Activity. An operator shall notify the Supervisor when the following occurs:
- a. Loss of a radioactive logging source;
b. Encountering unexpected wellbore conditions during recompletion or reworking;
c. Repairing or replacing damaged gathering lines; and
d. Fire, spill, leak, or blow out.
