- (1) The ASFA operates a food service program as an auxiliary service to the educational program. The food service program shall be operated in such a manner as to provide attractive, nutritional meals for the maximum benefit of every child.
- (2) The food service program shall operate as a nonprofit service to pupils, faculty and staff.
- (3) Resident students are required to participate in one of the several food plans offered by the food service program.
- (4) Exception to the use of a food plan for the resident student is given only when a licensed medical doctor issues a written statement that the ASFA food service program cannot comply with the specific dietary requirements as prescribed for medical reasons.
- (5) Nonresident students are not required to participate in any food service program of the ASFA.
