- (1) The initial appointments to the Commission shall be made for staggered terms in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
- (2) Upon expiration of a Commission member's term, a successor shall be appointed by the appropriate appointing authority using the same basis as the initial appointment except the term shall be for six (6) years.
- (3) At the expiration of a term of office, or in the event of a vacancy on the Commission, the appropriate appointing authority shall promptly make an appointment to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term.
