(c) WHITE-TAILED ANTLERED BUCK LIMIT – Three per hunter during all combined seasons, one per day. One of the three must have at least 4 antler points l" or longer on one antler (except for Barbour County). A point is defined as an antler projection of at least one inch in length from base to tip. Main beam tip shall be counted as a point regardless of length.

DOG DEER HUNTING RESTRICTIONS AT A GLANCE
2. U.S. CORP OF ENGINEERS LANDS: On U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Lands in Alabama, the special muzzleloader, air rifle, and unantlered deer seasons are allowed the same as privately owned or leased lands in those counties, if USACE does not further restrict. Be aware to consult USACE regulations regarding hunting activities and boat ramp use prior to hunting USACE regulated areas. Special Permits from the USACE may be required and some USACE areas are closed to hunting.

3. U.S. FOREST SERVICE (USFS):
a. Talladega County-Talladega National Forest Service Lands Dog Deer Hunting Permit.
b. All hunters hunting with dogs or with the dog hunting group must have the permit, either electronically or on paper, on their person prior to entering the Talladega National Forest Land in Talladega County. Upon receipt of the completed application and supporting documents, the District Enforcement Supervisor and the local officers in the county shall evaluate each application. The application may be approved, disapproved for cause, or approved with certain restrictions.
2.A permit number will be provided with each individual permit issued. Permit numbers must be visually displayed on the back window of all vehicles in the hunting group and on the vehicle of each individual hunter using 3-inch block numbers in contrast to the background color.
5. It shall be a violation of the conditions of this permit for any person hunting under this permit to:
1.All persons hunting with dogs on areas open to dog deer hunting on Talladega National Forest Lands in Talladega County must obtain a permit to use dogs to hunt deer or to train dogs on areas open to dog deer hunting on the Talladega National Forest. Each individual hunter, except youth 15 years of age or younger, hunting with dogs or with a dog hunting group must have the permit on their person while hunting.
(iii) NO DOG DEER HUNTING ON THE PINEY WOODS/IVORY MOUNTAIN AREA: The borders of which are defined as follows: bounded by the Cleburne County line to the north running east and west, then to the west by Clay County Road 3 running south to State Route 49; The south border is Clay County Road 66 running east and west from State Route 49 to Hwy 9; The eastern border is Hwy 9 running north from Clay County Road 66 to the Cleburne County line.
(iv)Abandonment of any personal property on National Forest Service Lands (tree stands, hunting blinds, hunting equipment, pets, livestock, pen-raised quail, or other animals) is PROHIBITED. The prohibition (CFR 36. II. 261.10 e) will be enforced by USDA law enforcement personnel.

By Limited Quota Permit only. Must apply online at www.outdooralabama.com. Only residents and Lifetime Hunting License holders of the State of Alabama who are sixteen (16) years of age or older and in possession of a valid hunting license (license not required for individuals over the age of 64) may apply for a Sandhill Crane Permit. There is no fee to apply for a permit. There is a $20 fee to accept the Sandhill Crane Permit in addition to a small processing fee.
Hunting Zone will be that area North of Interstate 20 from the Georgia state line to the interchange with Interstate 65, then East of Interstate 65 to the interchange with Interstate 22, then North of Interstate 22 to the Mississippi state line. Excludes the remainder of the state.
Limit 3 per person per permit. Shooting Hours: Sunrise to Sunset.
