- (a) The board's jurisdiction shall extend to all auctioneers, auctions, auctioneer or the conducting of auction business, that either occurs within and/or is located in this state and that are not either exempt from licensure by rule or statute.
(b) In this state: means that an auction satisfies one of the following criteria:
- (1) An auction was conducted within the borders of the state of Alabama;
- (2) The auctioneer is auctioning real or personal property located in the state of Alabama.
